About Me:
Hey Everyone! Welcome to YTM Education!!
My name is Wilda, I majored in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College(LLC) in May 2018. In one of our PTA seminars a Physical Therapist spoke to us about Lymphatic Drainage and the Lymphatic system that sparked my interest. I became employed by St Lukes in 2018 as one of their bilingual PTAs. I proceeded to go to a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) course in Pittsburg through Klose Training and completed the course in February 2020. I am still a licensed PTA in the state of PA, employed for St Luke's outpatient, picture above is our recent marathon team relay.
During Covid I noticed I was very intrigued with the teaching of the lymphatic system to my patients at the clinic and the manual technique. I decided to go back to school and graduate in August 2021 at Academy of Massage Therapy & Bodyworks in Pottstown. An amazing opportunity was presented to teach an intro class to the students; furthermore a level one CEU under the ID of the school in August, 2022. The interest grew, so much Level Two and Level Three were created, as a result of completing as of October 2024, 9 classes, variation of level one, two, and three. I decided to obtain my own Provider ID, Level one, two, and three became approved.
Facebook has been created to provide updates of upcoming classes, former and interested students are able to ask questions, finally exclusive updates regarding the lymphatic system.
Level one focuses on the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system with labs focusing on pathologies for example post total knee replacement, a sprain ankle, post hip replacement, and post liposuction.
